Our postal repair service allows you to send us your existing Airbag Module for assessment and repair. We will return your original module with a diagnostic report confirming correct operation, using Royal Mail Tracked 24 or Special Delivery.
Our B0100-49 repair service addresses internal Airbag Module faults that cause the airbag warning light to be illuminated. The B0100-49 fault code cannot be resolved by simply clearing or resetting the stored fault code. It is vital to repair this fault once apparent in your vehicle to ensure the correct operation of the airbag system. It should also be noted that a constant airbag light will be an MOT failure.

B0100-49 is commonly reported as an internal ECU fault. This fault is usually associated with a low or flat battery condition or caused by fluctuating battery voltage. A B0100-49 error may also be caused by corrosion resulting from moisture or condensation in or around the airbag module. This fault can prevent your airbag system from functioning correctly if you were to have an accident and as such should be repaired as a priority.

Battery voltage problems can present as either a flat battery or a fluctuation in battery voltage. These conditions are often associated with a B0100-49 fault. The issue typically occurs after the vehicle has been sitting idle for extended periods (such as over the winter). When you attempt to crank the engine with a weak or partially discharged starter battery, the massive electrical draw can cause the voltage to drop sharply which can also cause the failure and resulting B0100-49 fault code to be stored in your Airbag Module.
